Pladevall Collection
L’Olivar Private Foundation has been working since 2004 to create a collection of sculptures by ENRIC PLADEVALL and to show his art to the public through permanent exhibits. One part of the collection will consist of a sculpture garden interrelating his creations and nature: the pieces will not only be integrated into the natural surroundings, but nature itself will be part of the final result. The other part of the collection will be on exhibit in an indoor space showing the latest pieces.
On view will be a selection ranging from pieces from Museu de Primavera that were exhibited at the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona in 1980, to works made especially for this project, not to mention the Pladevall Virtual Project that was shown at Barcelona’s Galeria Maeght in 2001, among others.

The Foundation also aims to promote new artists through hands-on workshops, conferences and other educational activities. It also intends to organize a biennial for young sculptors focusing on the theme of art and nature, which includes a program allowing sculptors to work, reside and exhibit their pieces at L’Olivar.
